Payments must be made within 10 days of auction close unless other arrangements have been made with Open Adit West. If you would like to purchase multiple items past our 10 day payment period or would like your package held for any reason please hold off on payment until you are ready to have your package shipped to you. We ask that you email to inform us that you are still bidding or your payment is going to be delayed. Communication is paramount! Payment can be made through Paypal.
    SHIPPING METHODS
    All items purchased from Open Adit West Rocks & Minerals are made pursuant to a shipment contract F.O.B. shipping point. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. By using the shipping calculator below, you will be able to accurately figure your shipping costs. Any additional packing weight necessary for shipping has already been added to the weight of the specimen so there are no "hidden" shipping charges after the auction has ended. Please take a moment to review the information below to understand our Domestic and International shipping policies.
    Due to the USPS changes in shipping policies, final shipping costs may be altered due to box dimensions.
    Dear foreign customers; Thank you for your patronage in the past years and we hope to be able to fulfill your mineral needs in the future. Please be aware of the VAT rate and Excise fees in your country to have your package delivered as this is your responsibility. Open Adit West will not be responsible for individual countries importation rules and regulations and the fees associated. We will be happy to help in any way to expedite the shipment process to you.
    Your order will be processed and shipped as soon as payment arrives. Our regular shipping days are Tuesday and Friday. Orders received after 12pm Friday will ship on the following Tuesday. In the event our normal shipping day falls on a U.S. National holiday, your order will sent out the next business day.
    DOMESTIC SHIPPING

We will ship USPS Parcel Post or USPS Priority Mail . Open Adit West utilizes USPS Delivery Confirmation to ensure your specimens are delivered to the address you provide.
    INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
    Upon auction close you will be sent an invoice with the shipping charge. Please contact us by

We will ship by USPS Priority Mail International for which normal delivery time is between 6 to 10 days. In the event that multiple specimens are won, we can sometimes combine item shipping costs depending on the size of the specimens to ensure you receive the lowest rate possible.
