  • Condition: The satin glass powder jar is in very good condition, I see no flaws and the painted flowers look great. I did not clean the brass fitting and left the patina. The clasp does shut snuggly, the hinge in the back is slightly loose though. Two feet on the brass base bend upward a bit more than the third.

    Description

    I was very excited to be able to aquire this charming powder jar at an antique auction. Hand decorated vanity jars are hard to find and the attached brass pedestal makes it a rarity. My guess is it was produced in the second half of the 1800's and overall it is in very good condition. If anyone has a clue as to it's maker please send me a message.
    It stands 3.5" tall and measures 3.75" across at the widest point. It will be enjoyed by me on my dresser until it finds new home!
