Very heavy old powder jar with mirrored lid. The mirror is in really nice condition for its age. The jar is free of damage but is tarnished. It appears to be a metal/brass composition. The jar is unmarked. It comes with the original glass insert that is in excellent condition as well. The relief scene is a “Love Story” type scene but appears to be an earlier time. The lovers are playing a flute together as a lamb stands nearby. The man is wearing sandals so this may depict a biblical time. The side have a Roman scroll and wreath pattern. Measures 4 1/2” x 1 5/8”
