Antique NORVELL SHAPLEIGH #73 Food Meat Grinder USA Wooden Handle
Used. Exact year unknown, but believed to be early 1900s
Measures approximately 11" H x 5.25" W. Outside diameter of top opening mouth is approximately 4.5" x 3.25"
One side reads:
73 ~ DE
(with an arrow through the letters inside a diamond shape)
~ NORVELL SHAPLEIGH HWD. CO.
Other side reads:
PAT. APL'D FOR ~ ST. LOUIS U.S.A. ~ 2425
Comes with two grinder plates. One is attached to the grinder, another is loose and will be packed with rest during shipping.
Decent condition for being an antique. Does have some wear, patina, and discoloration due to age and use. Cranking motion is smooth but not loose. Some paint/exterior on handle is flaking away. Wooden handle has no chips or breakage that I could see, but does have some discoloration and green at the connection to metal. Please see pictures for condition and wear.
I do not attempt to clean or restore. I do try to show any defects or blemishes in pictures. If there are any defects/blemishes, I will try to explain in description.
