Description

ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER AND GUILLOCHE ENAMEL AND CRYSTAL BOX. This charming and unusual tall crystal box with cut vertical lines and cut cross-hatching in the center of each panel. The lid has a sterling silver top has a 3/8 inch polished sterling lip. On this lip are the British Hallmarks: G. C &S, Lion Passant, leopard head and H. So STERLING,LONDON, 1943. The top of the lid is engraved with a tiny over-all pattern and covered with deep pink enamel. In the center of the enamel is a sterling silver square which could be monogrammed.
