There is a broken off piece on the front bottom right and this piece is connected to the hinge for the mail access by The Postman..
The bottom door access will open but it is Rusty in is sticky and needs to be lubricated and worked in the one hinge on the right side is part of the broken bottom right piece. Please note on the left side bottom where the holes for mounting it has rusted in enlarged please see the picture. The bottom screw both mounts are rusted and missing please see the pictures. This is Rusty dirty Dusty chipped paint sticker on the front please see the pictures I'm not sure if there's anything missing from it.

Antique Cast Iron US Postal Mailbox Post Office Letters.
It is rusty. The paint is chipped all around.
It does have the mate for the mounting bracket, so the mounting hardware is complete, except for NO screws. No post.
This very rare original mailbox and manufactured by
Carlisle Foundry.
The front bottom has a pull down for removal of letters  for postman mail retrieval. The mailbox is cast iron.
The approximate overall measurements are:
Height is  20 inches,
Width is  13 inches and
Depth is  8.5 inches.
No lock. No key.
This will be packaged well . This is calculated shipping the closer you are to me the less it will cost.
When the mailman opens it up and retrieves the mail the left panel on the inside is missing please see the picture it's a inside the box that would be on it would be a shield off the left side.
