    Description

    Here is a b/w cabinet photograph showing what is described as the Reed homestead in La Center Washington. Possible the home of the James Reed family. Reed had a farm near the East Fork of the Lewis River at Stoughton. A bridge was built there and named the Reed Bridge. The bridge did not survive the 1880s. A man and woman with a baby in a carriage sit on the porch of the 2 story home. 5 ¼” x 8 ½”. The image has spotting and age discoloration. Spotting on the back as well.
