    Description

    Presented is a fabulous American sterling silver beaker style cup. This piece dates to circa 1815 and was made by Churchill & Treadwell. The cup has a decoratively gadrooned rim around the base. The  cup is monogrammed AFL on the side. The underside has an inscription, "ALF to Abby Frothingham Lincoln, Born October 11th, 1815."
    This piece is in great overall condition. There may have been a couple of dents removed over the years but if so it's hard to notice. There are no splits, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no solder repairs.
    The underside of the cup is stamped with the maker's mark for Churchill & Treadwell, twice.
    The cup is about 3 1/4 inches tall.
    The cup weighs 102 grams or 3.6 regular ounces.
