    Description

    This is a cabinet card photo of a Certificate of Membership in the Patrons of Husbandry (better known as the Grange). The date 1870 is at the top of the certificate but this photo was taken right around 1895. There are several illustrations of farm animals and farmers. The image is light and I could not make out much of the writing on the certificate but someone with a better magnifier might be able to read more of it. No photographer or location identified.
