ANTIQUE CABINET CARD PHOTOGRAPH OF A BOY AND GIRL, WITH A DOG AND DOLL, IN A PLANT FILLED SUNROOM.
It's obvious someone has a green thumb! There are plants galore and hopefully some gardeners will recognize some of them. And check out the figurines on the middle shelf!
The girl has long hair and holds her doll steady, so that it’s quite sharp. The boy tried to harness the pug dog, but he was less successful.
SIZE. Approximately 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches.
CONDITION. Photo: There is a crease, almost the length of the photo, on the right side. It is more apparent on the left side of the back. The bottom of this crease, directly to the right of the girl's chair, has several white marks on it. Scuffing, some of which is more apparent when tilted. Circular stain on the floor, to the right of the girl's chair. Small spots and marks, some of which are bits of emulsion loss. Mount: Wear at corners, including chipped away surface layer. Crease at left, above center. Another crease at lower left. Soiling on front. Soiling and scuffing on back.
APPEARANCE. Very good tones. Lots and lots of details. Nice poses with each child holding a friend. A fantastic room, a fantastic photo!
