Description:
This is a wonderful Zuni sun symbol face ring. The central circle has the traditional design with the slit eyes and dot mouth.  The top of the face is coral and turquoise and the bottom is green snail shell.  The rays or feathers surrounding the circle are green snail shell as well.  This shell is more irridesent than mother of pearl and has a slight green and pink tint.  The top of the ring is slightly convex which adds to the shimmer of the shell.
This piece is not signed by the artist, which was common for this time period.  It is not marked sterling, but is guaranteed to be so.
This ring has not been previously owned and comes from our collection of older pieces.
