You bid on a PLUG and PLAY thermostat, simply plug it into a 120V outlet, connect your freezer or fridge to the thermostat and place the sensor/probe inside through the door (the tiny 1/32" capillary tube is hold at the door seal). Adjust temperature between 32ºF to 96ºF (0ºC to 40ºC).

Digital Thermostats have a bulky sensor cable that won't go through the door,
you need to drill a hole in your Fridge...

Digital thermostats would be a good solution, but they often stop working on a power failure or power-surge,
this can happen at any time - every day and not only in bad weather (like all electronics at your home...)!
If the thermostat fails, your may cook your new batch at 120º (with no control the temperature inside your cooler may even go up higher)!
