    Description

    This is a beautiful specimen consisting masses of light blue acicular crystals and small balls of radiating crystals of the uncommon copper silicate hydroxide mineral PLANCHEITE on which are scattered small well formed crystals of green MALACHITE from the Shangulowe Mine, Kambove, Lualaba, DR of Congo. The specimen is 4.15 by 3.7 by 2.1 cms in size or about 1.66 by 1.48 by 0.84 inches and weighs 34.4 grams.
