Necklace 18" Sterling Silver 8mm Beads Soft Patina

This necklace is from my daughter's personal jewelry collection.  She has collected since the 1990's.
The necklace does not have a
hallmark,
however, it does
have a "Rising Sun" mark on both of the cones.  It is strung on flexible foxtail so you don't have to worry about the edges of the beads cutting through the stringing material.  Until the 1970's it was most common not to have any marks on the jewelry.  As
Southwestern jewelry
became more popular, collectors
wanted to know who made their jewelry so in the 1970's many artisans started
signing their work.
I have
hand polished this necklace to a soft shine with lots of patina.  Sterling S
ilver still
polishes and can become shiny time after time, that's the beauty
of sterling.
Never out of style, Southwest jewelry is an investment in enjoyment to last a lifetime.
