ORIGINAL ROLAND REED NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PHOTO~EARLY 1900's ~TEEPEE & BLANKET

Up for auction is an original old cabinet card photograph of Native American life on the reservation.
The photo was taken by
ROLAND W. REED
(b. 1864 - d. 1934) an American photographer, who was part of an early 20th century group of photographers of Native Americans... who was also a contemporary of Edward S. Curtis (b. 1868  - d. 1952), ... highly regarded and also known for his work as a Native American pictorialist.
The photo dates to the early 1900's (turn of the century) and
measures approximately 8" x 10" matted with the image size approx. 6.75" x 4.75" image.
I acquired several different Roland Reed photographs from one collection.  I wasn't able to get them all... but I did get a nice sample of them.  I'll list additional photos in the near future.
