    Description

For your consideration is this nice specimen of rich silver ore featuring reddish-black pyrargyrite in a matrix of massive marcasite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and minor tetrahedrite and acanthite from the Bulldog Mountain mine, Creede, Mineral County Colorado USA.
This is a good large example of a very unusual high-grade silver ore assemblage from a classic Colorado locality, collected by miner Daniel Aldrich Sr. in the mid 1970's. Has several nice small pyragyrite crystals in vugs. Rare!
