    Description

    Autographs from Queen

s historic 1973 first British tour in which they were the support act for Mott The Hoople along with
the original handbill. The line paper is signed in various inks by
Freddie Mercury, John Deacon who has signed twice and added “Queen” and Roger Taylor. Note: Brian May

    s signature wasn

    t obtained.
These autographs were obtained at Liverpool Stadium on November the 17th 1973 during their fifth stop on the tour, prior to their
performance.Their setlist that night was: Procession, Father To Son, Son And Daughter, Ogre Battle, Hangman, Keep Yourself Alive and Liar...Audio of this performance does exist.
Comes with a letter of provenance from the person who obtained these Queen signatures which reads: I confirm that these autographs were signed for me, on 17 November 1973, by Freddie Mercury, John Deacon and Roger Taylor, three members of the band Queen. Queen were touring the UK as the support act for Mott The Hoople. The autographs were obtained outside the “stage door” of the Liverpool Stadium (now demolished, it was situated on St.Paul’s Square, off Bixteth Street). John Deacon signed first and wrote “Queen” on the paper, he then took the paper and signed again, after Freddie had signed it. Roger Taylor then signed. Brian May did not arrive with the rest of the band and I was not able to get his autograph on this occasion. I got the flyer on the day of the concert and kept it as a souvenir.
The autographs and handbill are an extremely rare and historic piece of Queen history!
I should note to collectors out there, it

d be very easy to obtain a Brian May signature so you have a complete set of signatures.
The first time I saw Queen in concert was on their first American tour when they were the opening act on Mott The Hoople’s six night run on
    Broadway at the Uris
Theatre here in New York City in 1974. it was easy to see that it wouldn’t be long for them to achieve superstardom.
    These signatures
come with a certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
