Description
OLDE FROTHINGSLOSH draft beer tap handle. Pennsylvania. The Pale Stale Ale with the Foam on the Bottom. Pittsburg Brewing. Iron City beer actually filled the cans since the 1950's. The beer was only available at Christmastime in parts of Pennsylvania. In 1968 Iron City held a campaign for a fictional woman 'Fatima Yechbergh' to win a beauty contest and promote this on a can. Marsha Phillips then known as the Blonde Bomber was the actual model for the cans. She became a guest of honor several times at BCCA events. Assumed to be the first American beer can with the picture of an actual woman on a beer can. Real history here. Goggle it.Tap is listed as used but shows almost no signs of wear. May be new. No issues seen. Look! Excellent condition. One of the Holy Grails of beer tap right here. Exceptionally rare item not know to exist before. This is the 3rd one I have ever seen. Mr. Frothingslosh. The head is ceramic and has 3 faces. A monocle hangs over the one side and can be adjusted as needed. A magnet on the top keeps the chain in place. Lots of golden accents. Tap looks really great! A must have for any serious collector. It may not be the original monocle. Believed to be over 20 years old. Very rare piece. 11
inches tall. Tap has been turned and rotated till all sides are shown. This is the actual item you will receive. Stand not included.
