    Description

    Presented is a great Southwest Indian sterling silver and red abalone ring. The ring is bezel set with a large piece of bright red abalone. The silver mounting has nice Indian style punch work designs around the edges. This ring was made in the Southwest United States.
    We have been told that the stone is spiney oyster, and we have also been told that it is red abalone. We are by no means experts so please make your own judgment call.
    The ring is not marked. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be sterling silver.
    The ring is in great condition overall. The stone is securely set. There are no chips, no cracks, no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
    The top of the ring measures 1 inch by 1 7/8 inches.
