    Description

    Presented is a wonderful American Indian sterling silver, turquoise and coral necklace. This is a relatively modern piece, likely made within the past 40 years, but it is done in a traditional style. The naja or central pendant of the
    necklace is done in the form of a thunderbird, with its wings spread downward to make the typical crescent shape for the pendant.  Smaller birds make up the 'squash blossoms' throughout the rest of the necklace. All the birds are matrix
    inlaid with turquoise and coral. The necklace closes with a simple hook and eye style clasp.
    The necklace is in great condition. There are no breaks, no crushed beads, and no repairs.
    The necklace is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be sterling silver.
    The necklace is about 27 1/8 inches long.
    The necklace weighs 140 grams.
