    The last of the Kennedy brothers made several attempts to get the nomination for President.
    1 button from 1972  -  The 1972 campaign was derailed by the  Chappaquiddick incident.
    1 button from 1980  -  In 1980 campaign was ended by an unexpected primary loss to incumbent Jimmy Carter.
    His legacy as Senator lives on with more than 300 bills he and his staff authored put into law.
    These two button are in very good condition.
