Vintage 1873 McKenna Bronze Brass Beer Barrel Wine Keg Cask Tap Spigot Antique

This massive cast copper alloy spigots by A&T McKenna of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania bears an 1873 patent date and a stamped number 32256.  Measuring an impressive 18" long x 8 1/2" tall with 4" turn handle, it has an intriguing stem design that appears to incorporate filtering slits or similar.  The surface is untouched with tarnish, verdigris and dirt with numerous dents. The handle turns freely: I have no way of testing to see how well it works.
