    1932 'Landon for Governor' pinback. Celluloid piece measures a bit larger than a penny, 7/8". Made by the St. Louis Button Co. Patriotic red, white & blue interior!
    Alfred 'Alf ' Landon ran for and won Governor of Kansas, holding office from 1933 to 1937. He was the 1936 Republican Party's Presidential nominee losing to incumbent President Roosevelt. After leaving the office of Governor, he never held public office again. His work as an independent oilman made him a millionaire! He lived to be 100 years old!
