Vintage Antique Griswold Ornate Cast Iron Mailbox
Vintage griswold cast iron mailbox.   This mailbox has a viewing window and a double flap design.  It even has a hasp for a lock.   This mailbox can handle small and legal size envelope mail.  It can also handle very small packages that are 4" x .5" x  8"   This mailbox would also make a great addition to your mailbox collection.  The top lid is marked 361 and the main lid is marked 353.
Approximate Measurements
The mailbox measures 12" tall.   It is 6" wide and is 3" deep at its widest point.   All measurements are outside measurements and are approximate.   Weighs nearly 5 lbs.
The exterior is painted with black enamel which is tough and scratch
resistant.  The interior is raw cast iron on the body and main flap.  The top interior flap is painted black.  The item looks new, but is sold as-is and pre-owned.  There are no cracks, just a few minor nicks on the exterior black finish.
