    Description

These are from my personal collection.  I have collected Southwest jewelry since the 1970's.  Beautifully hand crafted vintage earrings.
Old unsigned earrings makes me think they're from the 1960's or 1970's before it became commonplace for artisans to hallmark their work.  I have researched the Morenci turquoise with pyrite and am convinced these are natural stones.  It has the irregular matrix of iron pyrite that looks like silver when polished.
The morenci turquoise is set in a foundation of sterling silver.  Turquoise can change color from wearing and age.  The oils from your skin is responsible for this.  The
beauty of sterling silver is it can become dark and be polished back to a beautiful shine time after time with a soft polishing cloth.
Never out of style, Southwestern jewelry is an investment in enjoyment to last a lifetime.
