Vintage Pawn 28" Necklace 3 Strand Dark Turquoise Nugget & Heishi Sterling Cones

This beautiful 3 strand old old vintage turquoise necklace is 28" long and has been strung old style on cord and finished off with sterling cones.  The turquoise is interspersed with brown translucent shell heishi.
This comes from my personal collection. I've collected Southwestern jewelry since the 1970's.
Beautiful bright turquoise nuggets
combine with authentic handmade heishi to become this old traditional necklace.  The heishi, although smooth and of uniform consistency, will have variations among the beads. There will be a variation in color and thickness or there might be a slight
imperfection in the shell or bead. This adds to its unique appearance.
The cones still show age and I have not seen this design on any other cone I've come across.  I suspect this necklace is from the 1950'sor 1960's or older.  I must say, this is one of the most beautiful necklaces I've ever owned.
Never out of style, Southwest jewelry is an investment in enjoyment to last a lifetime.
