    Description

    Vintage Southwest Handmade Tufa Cast Sterling Silver Zebra Pin 1 1/2" X 1".   I purchased this cute zebra pin about 30 years in Albuquerque, NM.  He is sterling silver.  His shape was carved into a tufa stone, the silver is melted, and then poured into the tufa stone.  It is painstaking and often the tufa mold can be used only a few times.  He is small and measures 1 1/2" long X 1" tall.  He weighs 9 grams.  He looks great on a denim jacket.  I used to pin him on a fabric purse from Guatemala.
